Working closely with Melbourne printer, AMR Hewitt, SF Design Studio produced localised versions of the Dayco product packaging. This included working to established brand guidelines, while maintaining consistency across multiple pack sizes and forms.
Special attention was given to the build up of process colours, providing a rich black around the  Dayco Branding.
The background illustration was rebuilt to match the US packs, as no original artwork was provided.
All product photography was extensively retouched to provide the best reproduction at print.
Positioning and size of the Dayco Branding was adjusted to suit different pack sizes and forms.
Various packs showing the consistency of the design elements such as the background vignette.
Despite the changes in pack formats all brand elements maintained a similar feel across the range.
Larger packs allowed for additional layout choices for product photography and information.
Care was given to allow space for additional on pack stickers, as seen here with the front of pack Dayco logo.

Nedfro
This design takes its inspiration from both the the Blaxpoitation poster art of the 70's and the iconic image of Che Guevara from 1960. Using the image of legendary Australian bushranger Ned Kelly as a base for the design. I illustrated the shadow areas and took the design into illustrator to be reworked, exaggerating the beard slightly and added the the ear ring tunnel. The final piece was the Super Fly afro pick hence the name "Nedfro".
