While working as the Creative Artworker and Studio Manager at Mesh Design, Franklin developed a workflow that allowed for greater control of the full layout within Adobe Illustrator. This avoided the time-consuming process of developing all artwork backgrounds in Photoshop, which was prone to tedious edits when revisions were required. Stephen applied this new technique to the Green Isle Stir-Fry range. It facilitated faster development of other variants in the range that used different dielines, and sometimes completely different layout formats. The result was less time being spent on small edits, and more time on crafting a consistent looking design.
